JOB DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement effective procurement strategies that optimize costs and enhance supply chain efficiency for an electrical equipment manufacturing company.
Key responsibilities include:
• Create and execute procurement strategies and policies aimed at cost optimization and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to ethical and sustainability standards.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and mutually beneficial agreements.
• Identify and source local suppliers to reduce lead times and transportation costs while supporting local economies and sustainability initiatives.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that procurement activities align with organizational goals.
