The purpose of this role is to ensure the timely management of purchase orders and maintain optimal inventory levels, facilitating uninterrupted production and delivery. This position collaborates with oversea/domestic suppliers and internal teams to streamline operations, minimize excess stock, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure the timely placement and management of all purchase orders to maintain a continuous supply of materials.
• Expedite material delivery to meet production demands, customer requirements, and new product initiatives.
• Conduct weekly rescheduling with suppliers to adjust, defer, or cancel orders based on fluctuations in customer demand, thereby minimizing excess inventory.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, IQC, and Shipping teams to facilitate seamless shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
• Perform regular inventory analysis to maintain optimal levels of materials.
• Conduct quarterly reviews of lead times and minimum order quantities to reduce excess inventory and obsolete stock.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers to guarantee reliable support and service.
• Provide transparency regarding material availability to the planning team.
