This person’s job is new customer development and sales for Company
Sales field: General forwarding service.
- Global logistics forwarding on Air and ocean freight.
- Domestic transportation sales
- Custom clearance service sales
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop to the best of his ability, his own client portfolio to look for customers with logistics
service needs (international freight, customs clearance, domestic transportation);
- Closely follow up on the sales leads to realization of service opportunities, negotiate and resolve any concerns to close target sales, proactively pursue to win the contracts/ projects;
- Conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs;
- Ability to interact with customer for extensive business needs
- Set and attend regular customer visits/meeting.
- Effectively respond to all customer enquiries/issues;
- Problem solving using own initiative, keeping customers and partners updated with progress on time.
- Develop business plans to maximize revenues.
- Prepare the frequent sales and financial data reviews/reports like weekly, quarterly and give the power point presentation to the management.
