The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) will be responsible for ensuring that all materials provided by suppliers meet the quality standards required for our injection molding business. This role involves collaborating closely with suppliers, conducting audits, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to support production efficiency and product integrity.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assess and qualify suppliers based on their ability to meet quality requirements for materials used in injection molding processes. Conduct on-site evaluations and audits as necessary.
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures for incoming materials. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Oversee the inspection and testing of materials supplied by vendors. Analyze test results and work with suppliers to address any non-conformance issues.
• Lead investigations into quality issues related to supplier materials. Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify problems and collaborate with suppliers on corrective actions.
