Synopsis Of Duties
The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems including HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Compress air, Nitrogen, Cleanroom… for construction projects. This role involves ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical installations and automated systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or automation, with a focus on building construction applications.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Design and Planning:
• Develop concept/basic/detailed Mechanical system (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Compress air, Nitrogen, Cleanroom…) designs and specifications for construction projects.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed Mech layout plans.
• Ensure designs comply with local Mechanical codes, regulations, and industry standards, green standard (LEED, BCA...)
Value engineering:
• Able to propose the alternative options/solutions for cost saving (investment cost saving, operation cost saving…)
